Over February break, Principal Giacobozzi, Ms. McGovern, Mr. Luciano, and a great group of students traveled to Italy and Greece! From walking in the footsteps of ancient Romans and exploring iconic ruins to standing where democracy was born in Athens, students experienced the foundations of Western civilization firsthand. Along the way, they savored incredible cuisine, built independence, strengthened friendships, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Our medical assisting students just hosted their very own health screening clinic for city employees at the Watertown Police Station! Students put their classroom studies into practice by checking patients' vital signs and providing blood testing. Even Raider came by for a quick check-up!

Families, we need your help in developing our Portrait of a Graduate! Your perspective as a parent/guardian is critical. You know your student's strengths, needs, and dreams better than anyone and we want to hear your voice!
We would greatly appreciate if you took 10 minutes to complete our Portrait of a Graduate survey. The survey will ask you about the skills that matter most for your student's future, how well Watertown is currently preparing our graduates, and what we should prioritize moving forward.
Additionally, we are looking for parents/guardians who would like to attend our 90-minute virtual focus group session on Monday, March 30, at 6:00 PM. To sign up, please use the above survey or this sign-up form!
Thank you in advance for helping us shape the future of WHS graduates!

Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your student’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas. Please review our report card and use this helpful guide for quick facts; translated versions are also available. For more information, you can email esea@doe.mass.edu or call (781) 338-3550.
Please see this letter for full details about our report card.

March Madness - Attendance Edition is back! As part of our ongoing commitment to highlighting the importance of daily school attendance, students are gearing up for a fun, month-long competition to see which team can achieve the highest daily, weekly, and overall monthly attendance rates. A special thank you to our ELA teachers for stepping up as “coaches” and helping to promote this friendly competition.
Last year, our highest monthly attendance rate of the semester was in March - and we’re excited to see our students rise to the occasion and aim even higher this March. Let the games begin!
