In preparation of the move to the New Watertown High School in April 2026, Watertown Cable News has released a mini-documentary on the WHS construction project, featuring brand-new footage from inside the building, including classroom space, the media center, the auditorium, the gym, and the four-story atrium in the heart of the school. The video includes interviews with the architects and construction workers who are bringing Watertown's dream new high school to life. 

When Watertown High School opens in April 2026, it will be the first high school in the country to achieve both net-zero energy and LEED 4.1 Platinum standards, making it the most energy-efficient and sustainable high school in the United States.
